Fertigation Systems

AWS Irrigation can install a fertigation system for you. We can upgrade any in-gound irrigation system to use a fertigation dispensing system to keep your landscape lush and grass green.

How does it work?

Fertigation is a process in which fertilizer is dissolved and distributed along with water in your drip or spray irrigation system. You have many choices when you use a fertigation unit to dispense fertilizers. The key to doing it correctly lies in the way we "micro-dose" which allows you to fertilize every time you water for maximum plant health and no risk of plant damage due to over-fertilizing. Most fertigation systems for residential use require the use of liquid fertilizers since they are unable to solublize (dissolve) higher concentration, water-soluble fertilizers.

What type do we intall?

AWS Irrigation Management Inc. installs EZ-FLO Systems. These systems are a line of easy-to-use, effective, and environmentally friendly, automatic fertilizer dispensing systems ( hose-bib or connected to an in-ground irrigation system) for use in residential, commercial, grower and municipal applications. The units use a patented flow process built on the principles of precision, port water entry, agitation and flow control to deliver non-hazardous fertilizers and supplements to your landscape. Four precision settings can be selected using our easy-to-use feed adjustment knob on the top of each unit's cap for maximum proportioning flexibility. EZ-FLO systems can be used with all sprinkler and spray heads, micro-spray heads and drip and subsurface options without the need to adjust the system for zones with different end devices (i.e. spray heads vs. drippers). EZ-FLO adjusts automatically to water flow in any zone even if there are different pressures present in that zone. For example many drip zones have pressure reducers in order to protect the dripper heads.
