Our Machines

With 4 plows in our fleet of machines, we can install various sizes of pipe and wire in the ground with no mess at all. 

Ditch Witch Zahn can install up to 1” pipe in places where other machines can’t go.  It is extremely maneuverable, and can get through most standard gates and doors.  See video

Our Ditch Witch 410 units are the workhorses of the AWS fleet, and do the bulk of our pipe installations.  The Ditch Witch 410 can plow up to 2” pipe, but is most comfortable with 1.5”, installing at a depth of up to 1.5 feet. 

The Ditch Witch 420 was added to the AWS fleet in 2010, and has become an invaluable tool for sports field installations, and installing hydro conduits.  This machine can easily plow in a 2” conduit or pipe 2 feet deep, while laying a warning tape 6” above it at the same time, all without making a mess at all!  Perfect for a no mess hydro installation. 

All of our trucks are GPS monitored, and all technicians are wirelessly networked back to head office with paperless job and service call reporting.  This provides the field staff with all of the information they require about the site they are on, from how to get there, to the serial number of the backflow device.  This ensures that service calls are performed in a timely fashion and without confusion, and ensures accuracy in billing.
