Alan Driedger – President
Highly certified irrigation professional (BSc CID CIC CLIA CLWM), Alan Driedger has numerous noteworthy accomplishments in his nearly 20 years practice: he has developed new central control communication strategies; has continued his education yearly through Rainbird Academy courses; has designed, implemented and retrofit countless of irrigation systems on large and small properties (including green roofs); and has become a Water Sense Partner with the EPA.
Ian McMillan – AWS Irrigation Construction Manager, Cross Connection Control Specialist & Certified Irrigation Technician
Leading the construction division at AWS Irrigation, Ian has proven leadership abilities to manage and maintain staff. He is readily available onsite to assist in all technical issues, pay special attention to detail and ensure all policies and procedures are respected throughout the project. He has worked on all central control sites operated by AWS Irrigation.
Jason Fleming – Cross Connection Control Specialist and Certified Irrigation Technician
Jason has been troubleshooting irrigation and communication issues on central control sites for nearly 10 years. His profound understanding of the entire system and experience navigates him swiftly through problematic issues in a timely manner. He has in depth knowledge of radios, controllers, flow sensors and rain sensors. Jason has a natural aptitude for communication, making him a key technician to relay accurate in-field information to the office water manager.
During our peak installation and service time, we have over 30 full-time employees. To see this contract through, AWS’s service manager, Jason Fleming will be on each site to get to know the properties for the AWS service team. Should any other employees need to be onsite, it will be at AWS’s discretion to fit who will suit the scope of work best.
Pierre Luc Cossette – AWS Directional Drill Operator, Certified Irrigation Technician
Working with AWS for the past 8 years, Pierre has worked his way from labourer to foreman, managing a crew of 3 employees on high profile commercial sites. In 2011 Pierre has taken on the role as the AWS directional drill operator.
Jamie Riddell - Certified Irrigation Contractor
Has worked in the irrigation industry for the past 5 years in various different roles from sales, construction to service. He has worked on plenty Central Control projects that range from full implementation and design to ongoing service and retrofits. Jamie has compiled a wealth of knowledge through participating in many industry training classes provided by the Irrigation Association, Rain Bird and Hunter Industries. Now undertaking the pleasure of assisting the Owner with business development aspects from operations to sales in order to sustain the Company’s impressive growth.
Our Resource Profile:
Kevin Purdie – AWS Technical Support & Central Control Water Manager
Within depth knowledge of technology and a degree in computer science, Kevin has a proven ability to manage, operate and monitor the entire central control system in house. He has an aptitude for creating complex schedules and creatively strategizing with the client to ensure water is being delivered in the most efficient, and wanted, manner. He has also proven himself to be a natural leader, organizing day to day office operations.
Louise Cottreau – Public Relations Manager and Central Control Operator
Louise has 5 years of Maxicom software operating experience from an office level. She has worked on creating, saving and sharing water savings logs with many clients. Additionally, she has in depth experience of daily monitoring and communicating such issues with key staff. Her role in the office encompasses many hats – giving her the ability to share, educate and inform clients of key noteworthy practices.
